To use Windows DVD Maker, the video
card on your computer must support DirectX 9 or higher and use Windows Display Driver Model (WDDM) drivers. To
determine if your current video card meets these requirements, check the
documentation that came with your computer or visit the video card
manufacturer's website.
To find information about the video card installed on your
computer, do the following:
-
Click to open Device Manager. If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
-
Click the arrow next to Display adapters to display your video card information.
If you plan to buy a new video card, check the packaging to
determine if the video card supports DirectX 9 or higher, and uses WDDM
drivers.
