Check if your mobile phone is compatible with Device Stage

1. Turn on your mobile phone, and then connect it to your computer using a USB cable or wirelessly.
2. Click to open Devices and Printers.
   Your device might be listed with a name that doesn't seem to be related to the make and model of the device. The Devices and Printers folder displays whatever name the manufacturer gave the device.
3. Double-click the device in the Devices and Printers folder.
   If Device Stage doesn't open, then your device isn't compatible with Device Stage.

   Notes

   • If Device Stage opens but Set ringtones isn't shown, the device might not support creating custom ringtones using Device Stage.

   • If you don't see your device in the Devices and Printers folder, make sure the device is turned on, has fresh batteries, and is fully charged.

   • If Device Stage doesn't open, the device manufacturer might not have specified Device Stage to open when the device is connected.

   • If your device isn’t compatible with Device Stage, it's likely that AutoPlay will open when you first connect the device.
